 Having in mind the holistic approach to all policies related to the seas sought by the Integrated Maritime Policy of the European Union, this book gathers the joint thoughts of specialists in Labour Law, and  Public and Private International Law on its actors, scopes and relations to other policies, focusing on topics such as migrations and  labour rights of the gens du mer, maritime security, sustainable fishing and other forms of marine resources' exploitation such as the blue technology, fight against pollution, business and human rights, fight against organized crime and education in the framework of the blue economy.
