El presente volumen ofrece un conjunto de artículos que aportan nuevas  miradas y datos inéditos sobre el léxico que utilizan en el pasado diferentes variedades americanas del español. Así, partiendo de distintas perspectivas y ocupándose de cuestiones muy diversas entre sí, estos estudios componen un acercamiento coral a la temática indicada que abre nuevas líneas de trabajo y, al mismo tiempo, evidencia la enorme riqueza que encierra el vocabulario empleado históricamente en el Nuevo Mundo. This volume oers a series of articles that provide new insights and unpublished data on the lexicon used in the past by dierent American varieties of Spanish. Thus, starting from dierent perspectives and dealing with very dierent issues these studies compose a choral approach to the subject indicated, that opens new lines of work and, at the same time, shows the enormous richness of the vocabulary used historically in the New World.
