Pepe and Pepa were a duckbill platypus couple preparing to have and care for the next generation: they?d chosen a lovely place and dug out  a big room that opened up into a large burrow, perfect for little ones. The day that Pepa laid her egg they were very happy. But over the course of a number of days every time Pepa left the burrow she found another egg, they were slightly different than her own eggs, but  eggs nonetheless. Alter collecting seven eggs, she decides to ask the  other animals if the eggs are theirs.
