El libro contiene las transcripciones para guitarra clásica de las 13 fantasías y los 8 tientos que se encuentran, respectivamente, en los libros IV y VI de Orphenica Lyra (Sevilla, 1554), de Miguel de  Fuenllana. Además, ofrece una introducción que, por una parte, sitúa estas obras en su contexto histórico y, por otra, explica los criterios de transcripción que utilizó Gerardo Acuña para llevar a cabo dichas transcripciones. Esta edición también incluye las tablaturas originales de las fantasías y los tientos, permitiendo al lector comparar la música en su notación original con la notación moderna de las transcripciones.
 The book contains the transcriptions for classical guitar of the 13 fantasias and the 8 tientos found, respectively, in books IV and VI of Orphenica Lyra (Seville, 1554), by Miguel de Fuenllana. Furthermore, it offers an introduction that, on the one hand, places these works in their historical context and, on the other hand, explains the transcription criteria that Gerardo Acuña used to carry out these transcriptions. This edition also contains the original tablatures of the fantasias and tientos, allowing the reader to compare the music in its original notation with the modern notation of the transcriptions.
