Sen-en-Mut fue uno de los hombres más poderosos e influyentes de Egipto durante el reinado de Hatshepsut y Thutmosis III (c. 1479-1457 a C.), en la dinastía XVIII. Desempeñó más de noventa cargos administrativos, religiosos y políticos, y fue el responsable de la construcción de espléndidos monumentos que hoy nos maravillan, como el templo de Deir El Bahari, en Luxor occidental. Los autores, Teresa Bedman y Francisco J. Martín Valentín, egiptólogos, que actualmente dirigen la misión arqueológica española del «Proyecto Sen-en-Mut (TT353)», han rescatado y traducido el libro que, inscrito en su tumba, le resucitaría y conduciría al Más allá.
