FAMILY AND FAMILY EDUCATION. Key concepts, present situation and values - The family occupies a preferential place in psychological, sociological research and of course in the educational field, especially in the present times. Although the crisis of the family is spoken of frequently, simultaneously the emergence of other family forms is taking place; there arises therefore the necessity to investigate the educational action in the diversity of families as well as in the personal development of each one of their members and in their social effects. In this book the questions that affect to the family and their performance in educational contexts are studied: In what measure are the social changes affecting the family? How does the educator face the different family structures? What does it mean today to be father / mother?
