Synopsis DIAGNÓSTICO Y CORRECCIÓN DE FALLOS DE COMPONENTES MECÁNICOS
Este libro nace con la intención de facilitar al lector una serie de herramientas y técnicas de la ingeniería mecánica aplicadas al diagnóstico y corrección de fallos en componentes mecánicos de máquinas rotativas. La idea es proporcionarle los conocimientos necesarios para realizar su mantenimiento predictivo mediante medida de vibraciones de la forma adecuada. Para ello, esta obra se organiza en tres bloques. En el primero se presentan los problemas que pueden darse en los elementos mecánicos más habituales en este tipo de máquinas como son rodamientos, cojinetes y transmisiones mecánicas. El segundo bloque se dedica al mantenimiento predictivo por vibraciones. Inicialmente se revisan los fundamentos del análisis y medida de señales, tanto en el dominio del tiempo como de la frecuencia, para después describir de forma detallada distintos tipos de fallos que pueden aparecer en el funcionamiento de estas máquinas, indicándose como pueden ser detectados mediante la medida de vibraciones. Finalmente, en el tercer bloque se presentan las técnicas para la corrección de dos de los problemas más habituales que aparecen en maquinaria rotativa, como son los desequilibrios y la desalineación de ejes.
