El volumen recoge una serie de trabajos que abarcan las últimas tendencias en la investigación humanística, haciendo especial hincapié en la literatura española medieval. Indudablemente, desde hace mucho tiempo, los estudios humanísticos han sufrido cambios en las tendencias metodológicas; sin embargo, últimamente, hemos asistido a un cambio real de paradigma que ha llevado e invitado a los investigadores a una profunda reflexión sobre los nuevos enfoques.
