When beautiful nineteen-year-old Roberta?s beloved father, the Earl of Wentworth, dies, she is left alone and bereft in North Africa.

Before long, love blossoms, bringing a new set of problems that send Roberta fleeing once more. It seems that her love for Adam is not to be ?
