Este estudio trata de la fonética segmental del español hablado en Jerez y averigua el saber metalingüístico de los propios hablantes acerca de la variación dentro del continuo dialectal andaluz. En particular, se investiga una posible norma fónica del andaluz occidental que, presuntamente, diverge del estándar del español peninsular.
