Sinopse Muna

Robert was a nine year old boy who lived in a conventional household which included his sister Susana who was three years old, and his parents. His father worked in a bank and his mother was a teacher. It seemed that this year they would not be able to go away on a vacation. This disturbed the annual family routine. One day the mother returned with some wonderful news: Muna, a girl from the Sahara, was going to be taken into a family for the summer. That family happened to be Roberto?s family! The story is narrated in first person by the boy. The text is fresh and full off marvelous humor. Even so, this tone does not take away from the drama of some of the scenes. We see Muna?s reactions to things which are habitual for us, but which are completely inaccessible to her. The experience turns out wonderfully for everyone, and reflects a humanitarian trend which is now taking place in Spanish families. This experience enriches both parties.
